I was born in Oklahoma City, Ok. Even though my father was not an avid outdoorsman, I have plenty of fond memories of him taking me to a red clay farm pond fishing at a very early age. It was somewhere between the red and white bobbers, a carton of worms, or a cartoonish Zebco that a spark for fishing was ignited. As years went on my love for the outdoors grew. With any given freetime, or days ditched at school, I was out chasing fish, ducks, and anything else I could find. I eventually stumbled into the cold clear water of beaver tail water. Little did I know the passion growing for fly fishing would set the path for my career down the road. After a season of guiding in Colorado I was back in Oklahoma City to manage an area fly shop. While spending those three years in Oklahoma City I couldn’t stay away from Arkansas, and all the water it offered. Eventually with a lot of love and support from family, friends, and clients I made the move east to the Ozarks that were always calling my name. Now owning Ferguson Fly Fishing I’m able to share my passion for the Ozark Rivers and the fish that call them home.
